In order to positively affect student learning, we will continue to meet as professional learning communities both as subject/grade level teams and building teams in which colleagues are working and learning together on a regular basis.
Review and/or revise your essential outcomes and common assessments keeping in mind “less is more”.
Target students who are not meeting essential outcomes by utilizing classroom interventions first and then by seeking out building interventions (RtI).
Writing and vocabulary instruction will be an expectation by all teachers in all grades and subject levels to increase our students’ ability to communicate through writing.
Communicate clear expectations and provide ongoing, flexible support to help accomplish those expectations in order to reduce frustration.
